Disneyland Paris Announces New Hotel and Phase 2 of Disney Village Expansion

Disneyland Paris has unveiled exciting new expansion plans, including the addition of a seventh hotel and the next phase of the Disney Village transformation. As part of a broader master plan set to be completed by 2036, these projects will enhance both the resort’s hospitality offerings and its shopping and dining district.

A New Lake Disney Hotel to Replace Events Arena

One of the most significant announcements is the replacement of the current Events Arena with a brand-new hotel. Situated along Lake Disney, this new accommodation will feature sprawling convention space, positioned conveniently across the street.

Although the Events Arena was refurbished just three years ago, plans for a seventh Disneyland Paris hotel have been rumored since 2021. The addition of convention facilities suggests that Disneyland Paris is reinforcing its appeal as both a leisure and business destination.

Phase 2 of the Disney Village Expansion

The second phase of the Disney Village expansion was also confirmed as part of the development plans. The shopping and dining district has been undergoing a multi-year transformation, initially announced in 2018, and now set to continue with further updates.

While details on the next phase are still limited, the expansion will likely include new restaurants, retail spaces, and immersive experiences, aligning with Disneyland Paris’ ongoing efforts to modernize and enhance guest experiences.

Val d’Europe Office & Housing Developments

Beyond the resort itself, Disneyland Paris continues its long-standing partnership with France through additional projects in Val d’Europe, the nearby town originally developed in collaboration with Disney. Plans include new office spaces and housing projects, reinforcing the area’s growth as a key commercial and residential hub.
